Medi-Cal

AB 237 by Assembly member Audra Strickland (R-Westlake Village) would increase -- from $1 billion to a maximum of $2 billion - the annual appropriation from the state General Fund and the Federal Trust Fund to pay the Medical Providers Interim Payment Fund. The fund pays Medi-Cal providers, providers of HIV drug treatment services and providers of services for the developmentally disabled (Bill Text, 1/31).
