Medi-Cal Could Help Identify Kids for Food Assistance

A bill (AB 2300) by Assembly member John Laird (D-Santa Cruz) would "make it easier for poor children enrolled in the state's Medi-Cal program to get free meals at school without additional paperwork or hassle," according to an opinion piece.
