Former Oregon Governor: Reform Needs To Tackle Costs

Former Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber (D), who is again running for governor, said that the current health care debate in Congress should be more focused on addressing rising health care costs than on access to services.  Kitzhaber is a former emergency department doctor and was a key proponent of the Oregon Health Plan, which overhauled the state's public health care programs.
