Opening of UC-Riverside Medical School Put On Hold

The opening of a medical school at UC-Riverside will be postponed because the state budget passed this week does not include funding for the school. Officials from the university and Riverside County, and area lawmakers say they will work to secure accreditation and funding for the school with the goal of opening it in fall 2013.
