Solicitor General To Argue High Court Medi-Cal Case
On Tuesday, the U.S. Supreme Court announced that the U.S. solicitor general is authorized to participate in California's defense against a lawsuit that argues Medicaid beneficiaries should be able to file lawsuits against states that make cuts to the program. The Obama administration is arguing that health care providers and other plaintiffs in the case do not have legal authority to challenge matters between the state and federal government.
