Yes Deborah- the government doesn't see us as equally worthy as the lobbyists and corporations. They get bailouts while we face dying on the streets. I don't even trust Democrats anymore. Same old dreck we got from Republicans.

Can someone clarify what it means and what will happen to dual recipients (on both MediCal and Medicare) who have their services "merged"? What do I stand to lose? I have to see specialists because 1. I had colorectal cancer, 2. have chronic pain, 3. have to see a rheumatologist and pain management doctor, etc. Will I have to chose from a list of doctors who no longer accept Medi/Medi? If I lose MediCal, I will have to shell out a chunk of money (thousands of dollars) I DO NOT have for tests and surgeries?

There's nothing left to cut!!! Now with 2 intermediaries between me and my bottom of the line doctor at the local county clinic, I am not longer able to beg my way in for appointments, at least I knew the ropes and could get an appt after a few months. NOW! The 2 healthcare plans that are the new 'overseers' are taking a HUGE amount of resources away from would be patients (haven't been able to get a single specialist referrel since they became involved, one is cancer-related) and now each doctor has an assistant who isn't even a nurse! Just a waste of valuable resources and a drain on a person's tolerance when trying to get something as simple as a pharmaceutical refill. WE HAVE NOTHING!!! SHAME ON YOU GOV! so sorry I voted for you, you won't be happy until the impoverished are ALL dying in the gutters, I know I'm one breath away from that dilemma.
Our City of Los Angeles is SO CORRUPT, and now you've added a huge load to further increase that corruption. I'm suffering, thank
