El Camino Hospital Officials Defend Executive Pay

On Thursday, El Camino Hospital spokesperson Chris Ernst reiterated that the hospital's executive compensations are on par with industry standards and are funded primarily through hospital operations. The hospital's largest union recently launched a campaign to put a measure on the November ballot that would cap payments at twice the $174,000 annual salary of California's governor.
