Hospital Deal Could Lead to Higher Health Costs in S.F.

Some San Francisco officials are concerned that a deal between Mayor Ed Lee (D) and the California Pacific Medical Center to build a 555-bed hospital on Cathedral Hill could threaten the city's efforts to control health care costs. Officials say they are worried that some of the cost of the $2.5 billion project could be passed along to residents.
