Standard & Poor's Expresses Concern Over California Budget Back to Article >>

Maybe pressure from the Credit Agency, Standard and Poor's, will send the CA legislature the message that it's time to balance the budget, since the people's mandate (prop 25) doesn't seem to hold any weight.

I still cannot believe that Steinberg and Perez think they can skirt the prop 25 mandate by blaming Chaing who was only attempting to enforce what WE THE PEOPLE OF CA voted into law.

Then again, this judge seems to think he's also in a position to overrule the CA voter/taxpayer.

CA is embarrassed (and bankrupted) by machinations like this.
