Business Leaders Launch Website on Insurance Rules Under Health Law

California business leaders have launched a website that explains new health insurance coverage requirements under the federal health reform law, the Sacramento Business Journal reports.

The website -- called the Health Law Guide for Business -- was developed with a $180,000 investment by The California Endowment.

Daniel Zingale -- senior vice president at The California Endowment -- said that the website seeks to provide unbiased information on how the health reform law will affect small businesses.

The website provides information on:

  • Health plan enrollment;
  • Small business health care tax credits; and
  • Wellness and prevention programs.
It also includes the entire text of the health reform law (Robertson, Sacramento Business Journal, 9/25).
