Ensuring access to healthy foods...when the state decides to help its citizens obtain food one should be concerned. The main thing that's going to happen is an increase in the cost of food with an equivalent decrease in its accessibility.
The organic food sold at my local farmer's mkt is much higher than that sold in grocery chains as well as its availability limited to local growing seasons rather than the year round access of food imported from other countries, plentiful during their growing seasons.

Thank you for covering this! This is a huge issue and like so many other disparities in our State, policy gets shaped by ballot box budgeting rather than thoughtful planning. Here's to hoping to see that shift start to take place!
