This is the same physician who was featured in an article in the New Yorker last year who--on his own--gathered and studied utilization data in his home city of Camden, and proved that one percent of its patients were responsible for a third of all health care costs. By focusing on this cachement and coordinating preventive and support services, they reduced costs by double digits almost immediately. "Integrated Care Teams," anyone?
