Who are you?
California Healthline (CHL) is a free, daily  publication featuring health care news, opinion and original reporting, designed to meet the information needs of busy health care professionals, decision makers, media organizations and consumers. Independently published by KFF Health News for the California Health Care Foundation. California Healthline is part of the Foundation’s commitment to important issues affecting health care policy, delivery and financing in California.

KFF Health News is a nonprofit news service committed to in-depth coverage of health care policy, politics, and business, reporting on how the health care system – hospitals, doctors, nurses, insurers, governments and consumers – works and doesn’t work. It is responsible for the editorial content of California Healthline. KFF Health News is an editorially independent program of the KFF, a nonprofit organization based in Menlo Park, Calif.

Neither KFF Health News nor the KFF is affiliated with health services provider Kaiser Permanente.
