This ONC guide is yet another answer to a HIT question and a problem-solution that "lives" online.

Every provider and provider organization can readily secure this and thousands of other HIT-relevant resources to achieve "meaningful use."

Your favorite search engine will deliver the knowledge needed to implement and adopt HIT, from assessing organizational readiness for EHR (people, workflows, technology) to defining organization-specific HIT requirements to optimizing an EHR to better meet organizational needs.

Efficient, successful searches use key words and phrases provided by publications like iHealthBeat in its "Topics" sections. The dozens of pages of search results are the "ore" from which a provider can "pan for gold," such as this ONC Guide.

CMS mandates won't be reversed; providers and their organizations have the means, now, to act and control their destinies rather than succumbing to ineffectiveness.
